This beautiful soft cotton scarf displays the amazing needle skills of kantha that transform well-worn saris into the new, practical and chic. The bright and beautiful saris of Bangladesh can now be worn with ease anywhere!

Fine clay from rural areas is used to hand roll beads that are then wrapped in sari scraps, giving this scarf its boho style.

Sari is an ancient garment, traced back to 2,000 BC and is the ultimate in recycling. Its 6 yards, 2.3 metres, fits any size and so these stunning textiles are often enjoyed for generations. Ultimately they’re stitched, with all their stories, into family quilts called kantha.
