Three major rivers run through Bangladesh to the Bay of Bengal, creating the largest river delta in the world. Hence the wide use of good quality clay for everything from jewelry to cookware.

These earrings are artisan Rina’s own design. She now has at least another dozen women working from their homes fulfilling orders for her creations. Small scale, home based work that’s easily picked up and put down earns every artisan a good wage whilst still caring for her family’s domestic needs.
