Description
The bright and beautiful saris of Bangladesh can now be worn with ease anywhere! This versatile pairing of a vintage sari cotton scarf and matching scrunchie make a super presentation that’s both useful and chic. Hand rolled clay beads that are then wrapped in sari scraps lend a whimsical trim to the edges of this soft cotton scarf. Sold as a SET of 4 with the same or varied fabrics.
Made from a re-cycled sari, this set can be sold together or as separate pieces. Either way, the amazing artisans behind each piece love to know saris are now being enjoyed all over the world!
Sari is an ancient garment, traced back to 2,000 BC and is the ultimate in recycling. Its 6 yards, 2.3 metres, fits any size and so these stunning textiles are often enjoyed for generations. Ultimately they’re stitched, with all their stories, into family quilts called kantha.
